See the many scarecrows lining Main Street in both Salisbury and Lakeville. Then vote for your favorites—ballots are available at the Salisbury General Store, White Hart Inn, and Lakeville Wine & Spirits. Cash prizes of $100, $75, and $50 for winners of Best School Scarecrows, Best Individual/Family Scarecrows, and Best Non-Profit Scarecrows. A trophy will be awarded to Best Business Scarecrow. Admire the many beautiful quilts draped over the pews throughout the church. All quilts are welcome in the exhibit -- whether made by you or a relative, purchased or received. Please bring your quilt(s) to the church from October 8-10 between 9 am and 3 pm. Cards will be available to list your name, contact information, and each quilt's "story," such as its design, its quilter, and how it was acquired if known.

National Iron Bank presents two iconic Martha Graham Dances: The Apple Dance from El Penitente and Lamentation performed by Graham 2. Following the performance, Graham dancers will lead children of all ages in expressive movement using props and fabric tubes. Plus “Graham” crackers and apple cider to enjoy.

Volunteers with various skills will sew on missing buttons, sharpen knives, replace a lamp switch or frayed cord, repair toys, stitch a seam or hem, fix a picture frame, or repair whatever small household items or furniture you have. After the short parade through town, return to Community Field for the awarding of prizes in various categories, such as best costume, biggest dog, and longest tail. The 15th Annual Brew Ski Fest is sponsored by SWSA. Over 30 breweries will offer over 200 beers, ciders, and hard seltzers. Live music by the Steve Dunn Band. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the gate. For advance tickets or more info go to Jumpfest.org.
